    My thoughts:

All hail Sega, the new undisputed King of RTS Land. Of all the parties Relic could've gone to, I'm pretty okay with Sega. Relic was THQ's breadwinner and I expect Sega to support them like they support Creative Assembly (Total War dev).

Meanwhile, the only other item in this list that I genuinely care about, I'm less comfortable with. The license to Metro went to the Dead Island guys. No mention of 4A Studios themselves - the ones who made Metro what it is and gave it its identity and personality. I really don't like the prospect of anyone but 4A making Metro, much less the Dead Island developer.

Surprise that Ubisoft bought THQ Montreal: 0. I just think a lot of people are praying that they don't ruin The Stick of Truth, seeing as how this is yet another title that only mentions the license and not the studio itself.

I expect Crytek to do Homefront justice, though. I think Homefront was a great concept and IP (and promotional TF2 item) with a very flawed execution, but Crytek know what they're doing when it comes to non-cookie-cutter shooters.
