I've played this for a couple of nights so far and I do enjoy it so hats off to Uber Entertainment, however...

My first thought was, this should have been a Team Fortress 2 mod due to it's superior graphics. Too late for that, so I would really like to see a big improvement on graphics.

I'll list the next items, some maybe listed because of my ignorance so please correct me.

    1. Unable to sort server list by columns
    2. I agree the maps are small but a mini-map would help.
    3. Tower upgrades should tell you what actually improves, range? power? health? the range could be displayed on the mini-map.
    4. I played a full game as a gunner with full upgrades against another gunner, he was able to kill me in about 5 shots and from very far away. Not quite sure why as I could never do the same to anyone else (skill isn't involved here) so possibly a bug, expected with a beta.
    5. There should be more stats on the bots on how much damage, health, range etc
    6. Introduce upgrades for bots themselves?
    7. I'd prefer to see health pickups rather than regeneration, it adds a bit more skill. Maybe offer both types during a game setup?
    8. Support guys should get assist kills when healing a team player.

I'm sure I can think of a few more things later on, hopefully this helps a little!

It's not a bug. That player was probably using a gold accuracy endorsement on a custom class. If you play Gunner a lot I'd suggest to do the same.

This game is a port from 360. Also, I don't think the beta has AA enabled yet.

Also, there is a wiki with more info on turrets etc.

Thanks, the wiki will help but it's no replacement for ingame info

More information in game would be appreciated SO MUCH. If capitalization were like exponents for words and the default exponent was infinity - that is how much it would be appreciated represented numerically in appreciation units.

For those of you that dont understand how much appreciation that is, Ill tell you: all of it.

For first I'd like to apologize my english it might be pretty bad occasionally but I think you are still able to get my point here.

I've been playing for 2 days now and this game really seems like a lot of fun and to be honest I like it much more than TF2.These 2 games have so many similarities and I really can't just ignore it. Classes in this game are pretty much the same as in TF2. Assault is pretty much TF2's scout and soldier combined and equiped with assault rifle and I think you can figure out the rest of the classes because they are pretty much identical. I'm not saying this is copy of TF2 what i'm sayin is that this game has so many similarities but still it manages to beat TF2 ,made by the all mighty Valve, and that is pretty impressive.

These 2 games also pretty much have the same main problem, some players just don't give a **** about your team and just pick a class which stacks up many kills and only few deaths. In TF2 and MNC sniper is that class and more than 1 sniper is already too much for one team in my opinion. Also the most annoying class is the same in these two games TF2's spy and MNC's assassin, they both get kills very easily and it might annoy many players but they really ain't overpowered as some people might think. After getting one kill it's often pretty difficult to survive the situation following the kill. Only thing why they are annoying is because they can get those one hit kills pretty easily but it's not so easy to get a killstreak going with that class and staying alive is really a challenge.

Wow this post really got pretty long but these are just few things that I came up while playing the game. And finally I would like to congratulate Uber Entertainment for coming up with such a great game.

Team Fortress MOD? no... this looks MUCH better. 2nd, it couldn't work out because why would valve allow such a thing... so noooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

    1. Perhaps that will be added in full, however, this IS a beta.
    2. mini-map? don't see the need.
    3. I'm pretty sure it just increases w/e the turret does. Anyway, not too important, it is what it is.
    4. it was answered already...
    5. range? really... you'll be able to tell after you play the game a lot. Health stats n such just aren't necessary really. You shoot, it goes down...
    6. upgrades to bots would be nice, but that changes what each class does in this game. It would also make a lot our weapons USELESS. So no... wouldn't work I'm afraid.
    7. Why? Over updates and bugs and fixes, this really isn't THAT important. Health pickups actually to me would probably ruin it.
    8. Agreed.

    But tf2 mod... lol, no.

Except the bots MAKE you push. If your team won't push, eventually the bots will push the team towards the moneyball. Either way, the objective gets completed fast enough.

The best part about Overtime is that it forces people to STOP deathmatch and worrying about their k/d and just attack/defend the moneyball. That's what I think I love the most.

Yeah i think that's the main reason i love this game so much more than TF2 and another reason is that in MNC you won't just defend or attack instead you have to do both and this way maps are much more easier to balanc. This way the game works much better IMO and it leaves mostly classes and maybe some bots and turrets to get adjusted for the ultimate balance.

Well after playing a few games I have to say I was wrong. The assassin really is overpowered if people abuse it. She gets juice way too fast so people just sit in the corner with cloak on and wait for few kills and then just destroy the whole base with juice. Just played a game against a team which had 3 assassins doing that same thing, we just got crushed. Pretty much game breaker for me.

^ It should be pretty easy to take care of that, but we only have pubs, so that's thrown out of the window. Organized should be able to take campers out easily though.

Also, cloak is LOUD. you can hear it from a distance, so once you hear it, scan the area. Most likely, a sin will try to get close to you.

    1. See glowing assassin running to your base
    2. See her pop juice
    3. Grapple her

Thet's what i've tried to do but against 3 assassins doing thee same thing ain't so easy and I need to admit the team wasn't too good either so that might be one of the reasons why they managed to do it so easily.

As likely one of the leading assassin "abusers" I feel obligated to point out that kills are actually a terrible way to get juice as an assassin. They will let you perma-juice once you get crazy kill streaks going, nobody is using the juice machines, and your team isn't being pushed (hence needing to replace turrets), but fighting pros in and of itself gets you very little juice. The assassins who are juiced in your base for much of the match do this by moving around the map all the time killing your bots and turrets uncontested. I'm still surprised to see a team of 6 players leave an entire lane open in the beginning of the match. Letting me just run in, kill the bots, kill the turret, and kill the 2nd wave of bots all in the first 30 seconds (hello, downed money ball).

The solution to this I say is to escort your bots. Without the element of surprise (cloak => backstab, lunge => grapple, ejector, etc) assassins tend to lose in 1 on 1 fights. Plus, if you're in a pack of your bots and she goes to grapple you she may end up grappling a bot. I've done it and let me tell you, it sucks. You likely burned both your lunge and your grapple to just go "hey look at me!"

Also, as has been said before: don't just run away from a juiced assassin. She will catch up to you if she's after you. Try to grapple/ring out/otherwise stall since dying usually costs the team less than losing a turret.

Well while playing as assault he really doesn't have that kind of grapple unless you change to your secondary which i rarely do but maybe I should learn to do so. Again this might partly be caused by bad team but still assassin's juice just fills up too fast in my opinion.

In addition they managed to do that in Spunky Cola Arena too and I don't think that kind of bot killing is possible because there is only one lane for bots to go.

Specifically for Assault, his charge will KO no armor Assassins and ring out when upgraded. It's one of the notorious "I win" buttons vs Assassins.

As for Spunky, you'd be surprised. People don't seem to check the actual bot spawn doors. I've spent entire minutes chilling back there killing every bot that spawned. You'd think people would get suspicious when bots just stop coming.

Well you might be right as you have some experience playing as assassin. And what comes to assaut's charge it won't do any good while assassin has her juice on and I really didn't have time to get it maxed, that would have been way different thing.

Of coarse take my advice with a grain of salt. Those of us who main one class heavily or only play a couple classes can become tunnel visioned, class defending zealots. However, with enemy assassins (especially good ones) get charge level 3. That adds the grapple and will allow you to ring out/knock back juiced assassins. It makes for a sad assassin to always get knocked off the map by a good assault with his charge, especially just after juicing.

As you said, it does hinge on being able to get to level 3 in the first place.

Yeah that tunnel vision is one thing i want to avoid and there's no way i'm going defend assault too much :D but yeah I might need to adjust my strategies if enemy team has many assassins and thanks for informing me about these things. Might even give it a try tonight.
