    And we have....... LIFDOFF

So the game's spectacular orbital trajectory calculations involve the planet going for a ride around the sun, then doing a little loop around itself before finally hitting the moon. There's no way this can possibly go wrong!

"Wait, where was I going again?"

I guess this is one way to solve the issue of destroying that moon! And the other one.

Oh **** son what are you doing

No worries, it's fine! Completely stable orbit here, no problems whatsoever.

It stayed like this for the rest of the game.

This is the premise behind the 'Marshall's Lament' system. Im away from my computer atm so can't link my 'how not to smash a planet' video from gamma.

lol I laughed really hard:p I remember one time I was playing in a halleyable(?) planet and tried to smash the enemy to dead and suddenly the planet decided that it was fine to pseudo collide with my comm planet and then march the remainig ally forces to the sun.

That happened because the planet target was changed.

    You mean this one?

EDIT: What? I could have sworn there was nothing below that comment when I replied to it. Oh well, leaving this up to showcase my own stupidity.

It seems the "stellar physics" have been improved since the version in that video.

Would be cool if the editor allowed closer orbits to the sun.
