meh I can deal with the occasional "aww WTF LAG!" moments. I'd prefer Uber using their money for expanding MNC and developing new games.

You should try playing on my host, then moments where you don't go WTF LAG are the exception.

Yeah I can't imagine the lag being much fun for the folks across the pond.

I remember playing L4D1 with people from Australia and Japan and their connections were always red bar. That's pretty bad considering L4D1 DOES have dedicated servers. Talk about Hunter dead stop FAILS!

On second thought dedicated servers would be sweet. Maybe the funding can come from the cost of the new DLC?

That's the only my problem about MNC.
Even if I pull host, nobody can join.
    Screw LAG.

Eh, I just have a legendarily bad internet connection: 0.5mb down with no amount of router fiddling changing the closed NAT.

Fixing NAT's can be such a pain, i know how that feels. I did something a bit unnusual the other day at a friend's house that fixed it for him. I know you've probably tried everything, but it's worth a mention.

FIRST, setup your Xbox to run on the DMZ of your router.

Chances are you've done this because it's the easiest solution for most people.
Didn't work at my friend's house. I tried everything in the book and nothing worked.

But then just for kicks I DISABLED his router's uPnP. Turned the Xbox back on and everything was perfect.

Apparently some routers have a screwy uPnP utility and Xbox is especially sensetive to it. Go figure. Yay Microsoft.

Also, if you have attempted Port Forwarding/Triggering on your router before make sure you disable and delete those configurations for your Xbox if they're still in there. I've heard of DMZ and PF/PT conflicting if enabled at the same time for the same device. Not sure if it's true, but it can't hurt to be as safe and clean about this as possible.

After struggling with configuring my own network and that of several friends' I've come across so many issues and their related fixes. Only thing missing is a self made Microsoft Publisher diploma with cheesy clip art
