This Game Needs Matchmaking Filters.

Enter game as a new player, having fun being retarded.

Level 95 comes in, spends entire game getting kills, overtime comes juices and wins the game. 1 guy has fun, the other 11 either are sick of getting raped or felt like they did nothing but kills bots the entire game.

Of course their will be Elitist's who tell me "to learn the game" or that "it's good for you" yet I'd rather have fun. It's just not healthy for the game or the community in the long run. Me and my friends have to change serves ever few games because 1 person will come in and make it too one-sided.

I know it's up too server owners but their should be filters or encouragment to implement these features.

The game has matchmaking filters via star rating on servers. Unfortunately, this isn't explained directly. You may want to look into the Emphasize Stars on Servers thread.

That being said, it's not going to always ensure you even teams when gaming. Even within a subsector of only 3 star and lower players, the game is still going to allow stacking by default.

I feel your pain OP. The star system is not proper matchmaking.

if its about me, im only lvl 91 and if your talking about the game where there was 3? i think older players that should have won it the second overtime hit but instead let me get into their base with juice as assault and i won it but was about to die, ah well.

It is funny when noobs complain about match making yet I see 3-4 level 0-7 players all jump on the same team by choosing Blue and saying things like "Ice forever" and "Represent Ice" and then all the level 20-50 players end up on the other team.

And a matchmaking filter would be a nice idea, I want level requirements, a.e. server only allows player with lvl 0-20 to join - noob server.

Vetera server level 60-100 and so on. :ugeek:
Still depends on the server admin, but the star rating is just not accurate enough, the skill level varies between 1 - 10 stars or so.

Not enough players play regularly to implement something like this, then you would also need servers for all as well. You can't have all the servers be level locked.

not sure why you were there the whole game and the balls never dropped until overtime
and its not your fault that your juiced assault did more damage to the ball than my juiced tank
of course the entire ball hp going down in 3 seconds seems a bit fast and makes a joke of the recent change

it would work better if it wasnt rating noobs that have only played against noobs at 4.5-5 stars
especially when a fail veteran like me can make them look stupid with nothing more than a well placed firebase

Ah yes. I remember during the free weekend an aussie named Neko dropped a firebase on Ammo Mule and slaughtered my entire team. Now I was not newb back then but I had not figured out how to dislodge firebases and my entire team was spawn-blocked.

i was trying to push out by was unable to due to your team killing most of my team and having us on lock down in our base, we had no turrets, i fell back when i saw 20 seconds till overtime, bomb charge jumped into your base with juice and won it, your team should have won though.

I constantly keep getting raped by pro assassins who sit in your base killing turrets and players. Then overtime comes and they juice for an easy win.

Basically backdooring and my team isn't usually good enough to stop it.

They're annoying, but you can do a few things to push them back. I usually go support and get some hacked turrets close to the bot spawns. That usually makes them either try and chip away at my turrets with shuriken launchers (just heal and threaten them with the shotty-boom) or they try and kill bots after they left the base (escort them out as far as it's safe to and build a firebase to cover them).

In any event, their team now has one piece of dead weight, while you have the luxury of healing your team and building a base up.

id go more for a star restriction on who can enter servers. we already have a star cap for some servers, but not a restriction for lower star players.

the problem is that a lot of new low skill players are running around with over 4 stars as they have only played against noobs
against people that know what they are doing it wouldnt even be a contest

let those noobs that think they are top sh*t join a server with proper players so they learn they aren't so amazing

that just screws up the matchmaking
3 slimbot or better lvl players on 1 team vs no one above lvl30 on the other
even tooling around the games only last 4-5 min
thats no fun for anyone

yeah i don't get why the game seems to stack high lvls on one team and lower lvls on the other, sometimes it will balance it out with a slim on one team and the other highs on the other team, but that is very rare (i am talking about the random teams not if people choose a team and stack it)

Yeah, I was seeing this happen last night a lot. The levels were actually evening out somewhat between the higher levels, yet it would stack a few 20s on one team and a 0, 1, 14 on the other with a couple high levels on each side. LOL It just seems so random sometimes.
