I feel the need to type this, so I will. 1. Lazer-Blazors are pathetic and should be reworked. 2. Assassin's Lunge Grapples should be fixed. 3. Support shotguns should not take 65% your HP while juiced. 4. Snipers need their Quickscope. Don't take it away. 5. Assaults are overpowered. That is all. 6. Gunner's health regen is too long. 7. Longshot Turrets should be disabled on Steel Peel. 8. Assault's Level 3 Charge should deal Level 2 Charge damage in the air. 9. Supports should get assists for anyone overhealed who gets a kill. 10. Lv 2+3 Freeze Traps should stop all movement. No dashing through them. 11. Headcrabs shouldn't bounce off of floors onto your head. 12. Make deploying useful for tanks. 13. Make money useful for something. Purchasable armors? 14. Show levels in lobbies. No one cares if 70% the players are 5 stars. 15. Make 5 stars MUCH harder to achieve. I know you're working on it. 16. Teach new players how to grapple juiced people... please. 17. Give this game the ability to be more competitive. 18. Make games less snowball-y and not depend on 6 players. 19. Fix the Assassin bug that's been around since beta. 20. Promote more. PAX is a good start. 21. When typing before the game starts, don't redisplay it when picking skills. 22. Make skill picking more register-able. It's failed on me once or twice every game. 23. Supports should overheal players MUCH more often. 24. Ejectors shouldn't eject you if you jump right as it's going off. 25. Ejectors on Grenade III are completely unfair. I could probably think of more but am tired Fight me on any of these points.
@Decker87 9. Point blank is does about 50% against a gold armor squishy. Test it out. 9+23 Agreed. @Snug 3. It's not the same. The grapple won't connect if theyre moving, usually they won't die because of not taking damage from the lunge. 11. Yeah, it happens. 23. True, I would love to see CHANGED.
I've never seen this happen, ever. Are you sure you're not lagging? I've seen it fall off someone's head after they died...maybe you ran into it?
1. Turrets need to be reworked in general. Getting juice is a much better investment in terms of the money/time you put into building/hacking one. If you're depending on turrets, you're on the defense which means you lost map control and are losing. Turrets are too squishy, too defensive, and too expensive. 2. Fixed how? That it shouldn't happen? Some has said it doesn't work, but I've been able to do it and others have claim to do so as well. 3. Why Not? Support has no way to get into that range without you coming into that range when juiced. 4. Arguable, but I don't feel it matters much. Let them have it. 5. Assaults have no weakness. I think their moneyball damage is too high considering how mobile they are. Otherwise, I don't think assault is OP. I do think tank/gunner/support are outclassed by the other 3. 8. Ignoring that you think Assaults are OP, I agree. 9. Would be a nice change. Wouldn't affect the game too much. 10. Agreed. Should also be able to shoot them too though. 11. Must be visual lag...never had this happen to me. Headcrabs don't bounce. 12. It's a dead skill for the most part. Mobility is too important in this game. 13/18. Wouldn't this change make the game more snowball-y? 17. I don't think this game will be competitive due to game mechanics. But even before that, the game needs to grow its player base. It's too small now. They level talent just isn't deep enough to really support a competitive scene. 19. Skill bug? Grapple bug? Oh I don't know. 21. I really want to be able to buy my skills on the move/in the air. But still wouldn't matter much, the time spent buying is negligible compared to time spent playing. 24. Lag/netcode. I think the netcode in this game is bad for a fps. 25. I hate ejectors/map design. It all focuses too much on being on high ground which limits so much of the map which effectively makes them smaller. It makes most map become really boring, really quick. That being said, I like grenade 3. It's much easier to get to high ground that all the other maps. Overall, the game direction should first be focus on player growth and retention. High lvl balance changes don't really matter if the player base isn't there. Want more players? Want them to know to try to grapple juice opponents or not build long shots on certain maps? Talk to the newer players, teach them. With Pax, hopefully we'll see more players.
405 damage from shotgun. Assassin with ZERO ARMOR but juiced has effectively 900health. 405/900 = 0.45 So assuming on the offchance that every single pellet connects and you don't kill the support well before he could get close enough to do that much, he STILL is doing less than half. And that is only if you aren't running any armor whatsoever.
Honestly half of those things where saying "Stop letting dumb players be dumb". ...You know, if you see people doing stuff, you can always call them out on such, tell them WHY it sucks, and suggest alternatives. Ask for supports to overheal you, tell people to grapple someone if they are juiced to help run out that timer and keep everything OK, inform people before hand that longshots on steel peel is just NOT a good move at all. I'm versus #10 thought. As it stands playing sniper will almost always give you best K/D ratio on your team bar none. Traps, flack, and headshotting from any distance makes that class an uphill battle to fight beyond being a sniper yourself. Traps as they stand really just leave it up to Sin's or assaults to dash in and kill them before they get killed. Gunners can try to bomb, but 9/10 times, if you can hit a snipe, they can hit you back, and a Gunners head is really easy to pick out. Tanks are just 'NOPE' and at best can try to divert their focus, but the rail gun is rather meaningless compared to that rifle...And a support closing into a sniper is complete NOPE. Same for #12 as it IS useful, just situational. Health recovery snapping in fast, and lv 3 means you just get juiced, deploy, and burn that moneyball all the way down to nothing. Sure it's not the dash, nor the 'nade, but it's got uses. #13 is ehhh. Protags, protags everywhere. Custom classes as well till you unlock all 6 slots. Maybe they should just add another 2 to give players more load out options if they so choose. Overall what this game REALLY needs is just more stages period. It's hard to keep going with very little 'physical' content is abound. Outfits are cool, this rating system shall have it's uses, and overall it's a fun experance, but it's stagnating hard now, and needs more arenas. Hopfuly that dev kit will come out with that new stage.
