There should be a trophy system for winning tournaments!

I believe that there should be a trophy system for the game. For tournaments, and possibly notable achievements. The trophy would be planetary annihilation styled (obviously) and would be different styled every time. I wouldn't care if the way you received the trophy was a .gif file through the email, but as long as you at least get a trophy when you win a tournament (id probably never get one of those). whats the point of winning a tournament other than plying skilled players to get better, and bragging rights? NONE I tell you NONE (unless a cash prize) so why not make a trophy for the people? I would make one but i don't have the skills to do it myself. I declare this thread be about the designing and brainstorm of the trophy!

I am sure this will happen when there are tournaments after release. The current ones are playing on what essentially isn't the game... yet. It isn't pa yet.

They could always just have records of tournament leaders and what kind of tournament tier, in the leaderboards. Beside that, a special commander skin like the backer ones for tournament winners would be a flashy award.

I'd also hope those leaderboards would record "player designated" tournaments as well as official ones, just on the leaderboards so people can see if and which private tournaments you have won as well.

I would never win one. I like to participate and lose though. I consider the challenge to put up as much a challenge as i can.
