I think this is what were calling it now haha. anyways I'm talking about the little "secret" path on spunky behind the enemy's base. When I first learned about it, I'll admit, i probably used it more than i should have but i just feel like now everyone knows about it and everyone uses it all the time. At least in pubs anyways. I went back there to check ours for any enemies that might have been back there and there was an assault, gunner, and support with a firebase(fail) back there. I was like WTF!?! are you kidding me!? anyways long story short I headcrabed the gunner and the other two went flying. but I hate it when everytime I check someone is back there. Anyone else?
Can't quite put it down. There are several spots like that on Spunky. You mean the one right next to the base entrance on the bottom?
I have always known about one ledge behind both bases, but apparently there are plenty? Care to elaborate vlane? I see it used in pubs and privates. I only get annoyed if it's the only path a player chooses, of if I make it to our mid ejector pad in OT and notice the ball taking heavy damage only to not see anybody there.
Don't think so. You guys probably mean the spot at 7:46 in this video. I mean the one on the upper level where the two glass walls meet. There is a spot where you can shoot through.
Yeah I mean the one on the lower level, by the jump pad, on the other side of the wall that blocks the enemies' spawn from the rest of the level. you can shoot the enemy money ball and be relatively safe and its annoying when every time you check it, someone's back there thinking they're cool.
It's only really effective against dumbasses. The only time I can use it against people that are good is just to flank when I have juice and don't want to get CC'd as easily. If anyone good sees you there, you have a disadvantage unless they're like an Assassin or something, in which case they shouldn't even be going there in the first place.
Yeah but I mean when people set up like a whole front line there, like that'll be the only path like 2 or 3 of them will take and I feel like I have to always keep an eye on it or my team (which normally is full of dumbasses) will get overwhelmed because they don't know how to counter it. FYI if you take the jump pad right there in your base and hover over to the wall that lets you look out at their L-shaped wall, you can get a pretty good vantage point on anybody back there. But you probably already knew that.
