The support class is SEVERIOUSLY OVERPOWERED

This is just absolutely unnexeptional! You can just sit and heal stuff and build sentral guns and they do they works for you, and before you know, FULL PURPLE DRINK he need nerf just cause italian does not mean should be powerful like mario i mean you just healer and never see bad guys

i dunno if it's just me, but i find the language here a little hard to understand. wut?

but yeah good job on that support. pretty much every class is ridiculously strong if you aren't a noob. all it takes is an armor/rate/skill build(for any class) and you're practically invincible to the majority of the map. does the game still suck as far as Pubstompers go? haven't played in a long time.

I think, until the assault gets the nerf, that the support is only strong because he is an assault counter.

Anywho, the support isn't OP as much as he is simply vital. His scores against a GOOD team isn't that high. He can't get the kills usually on his own, and he can't even usually get that many assists against a team that actually kills the longshots and gapshots. But he is vital, a team can go without an assault moreso than a support.

I'm thinking V's confusion comes more along the lines of the suggestion that the support is an assault counter.

It isn't that the support has the best chance of killing one...

It is that the support has the best chance of upsetting all of one's objectives, and defending himself against a hardcore rushdown:

First, assaults are garbage against turrets and bots. Since a support buffs these hardcore, he cuts off most of the actual objective. The assault then needs his team to take care of the support and his bots/turrets.

You see, an assault picks on unsuspecting targets by weakening them and rushing them down. A support heals teammates low on health, taking some easy kills from the assault. Overheals really make heavies not-so-good targets for assaults either.

Assaults must then hang around their own heavies to follow up on their attacks. Then when they do score a few assists and a kill, they try to go after the support himself. Airstrikes will block the way, and when maneuvered into going around a corner for the support, he takes a shotgunshell and if not careful can even lose pretty often in this situation.

Lastly, assaults can move quickly above and across the field, but firebases limit their safe movement in this scenario. Assaults can't deal with correctly placed and supported firebases.

OVERALL: If a team doesn't have a support, there is no need for anything BUT assaults. If a team has a support, there is no need for anything MORE than 1 assault. I particularly appreciate how tanks and supports (and a gunner on a team that actually heals and stuff) actually do decent against assaults is all.

Sniper is overpowered. I can join the game late, go 0-0-0, kill 0 bots and outscore my teammate with 5 kills.
