I have Heartgold, but I have pretty much every possible pokemon on my Diamond, lemme know which one you want.

I too have SoulSilver plus a Dex nearly full on Diamond.

Unfortunately, the actual pokemon of my nearly full dex on Diamond disappeared when I accidentally deleted Pokemon Ranch on my Wii before offloading all the pokemon first.

I just started it today, so it'll take me a while to work out what I want. Having a Ghost Pokemon after less than two hours play is unnerving. Also, due to all the Flying and Bug types, my Onix is now more powerful than my starter 'Mon.

The starters in Heartgold and Soulsilver are lackluster when compared to those of Red/Blue/Diamond/Pearl. I don't even have mine on me anymore, and I just restarted my game.

Can someone explain the appeal/point of Pokemon games? I don't mean any disrespect, I've just never played them and don't understand why so many people are into a "kid's" game.

For me, delicious nostalgia with a side order of "gotta catch 'em all". Brings out my inner OCD-ridden man-child. The battle system is quite complex, if that's your cup of tea.

It's such a complex battle system. I was deep in the scene during Platinum, you got psysical attacks and special attacks, moves which boost your attack, special attack, defense and special defense of course...

I could go on and on and on but I won't bore you guys too much. Long story short, when you get over the whole 'it's for kids ragh' thing, you get a deep and complex turn-based RPG.

That's the appeal/point of Pokmon games.

Go on Youtube and watch some of Kingdaddydmac's Poke battles if you don't know much about how it works. Blametruth has some too.

I don't even battle competitively but I have tons of pokemon leveled and EV trained for all sorts of different and gimmicky approaches.

Like a suicidal offensive powerhouse of a bear, a dove capable of flinchhax'ing you, or a mushroom that puts your to sleep so it can punch the crap out of you.

Don't mention flinching to me - that stupid Normal Gym with the stupid Miltank and its stupid Stomp.

Also, I found an unevolved Magmar with the Pokewalker and my goddamn Magikarp killed it WHYYYYYYYSHLTJO;XVHFDGBYRV
