Chickey Cantor. No. just...no! Why? why give a whole team bacon!? mabye give bacon the the ONE player who killed him but the whole team!? I think thats just...wrong. An entire team should NOT have bacon.
It's interesting how he's so far away from the main objective but team-buffed bacon sounds OP on paper to me.
It is a risk, reward opportunity. It takes members of a team away from pushing bots. When was the last time you were killed and thought, wow that guy must of had bacon?
I'd say it gives the losing team a chance. If they're doing terribly, then they can decide if they want to go for Chickey or not and give themselves the advantage at the risk of the other team barging in and winning the Bacon glory for themselves for one final push against the enemy. I think it adds a bit more competitiveness to the game, not a LOT more, just a little bit.
Not sure if serious also. Imagine this, you are playing funland against a clan. This clan includes 6 players who know what they are doing, such as F5in, Crimsonskull117, whoever you feel is good. These players can effective one hold your team without bacon, Two can have one person to attack chicken cantor while they keep you in spawn, or what not. Chicken cantor dies they all get back...... even more rape follows.
i also play on the pc and chicky isnt op cuz u need at least 40 secs to get him with 2 or 3 ppl wich can cost u Map controll so i think its risk vs reward
Chickey is off in his own little section, quite far away from the Bot lanes. If most of your team goes for him, your Moneyball is going to be dropped faster than my trousers on 2-for-1-on-Slippery-Nipple night. Or something. Also, you get a nice little particle effect. Which is cool.
Not only that, but it is the team with the killing shot that gets the bacon. If the other team is taking 40 seconds to kill chicky, only to have the other team snipe the kill shot, that would be very costly. I like the idea of chicky. Adds a new risk/reward element to the game strategy. Looking forward to seeing it on 360...right?
The problem isn't how much risk/reward is involved. The problem is that it pretty much ends a game if you do manage to accomplish killing chicky. Takes away from the objective. I, too hope that it isn't in 360.
