The only logical gunner grapple replacement

Everyone knows the gunner grapple sucks and is stupid and we all hate it. What if, instead of having another grapple for a red skill, he could squat down and lay a bouncer egg? It'll hatch in five seconds and the amount of health it has is dependant on how long the gunner squats over it to keep it warm. Upgrade it and the gunner will have beautiful twins!

I support this thread just so I finally have a reason to try a gold skill recovery gunner.

The whole Gunner squatting on an egg, incubating it, hatching twins, yeah we did that and cut it during development. The egg had pretty sweet destruction physics on it and would crack differently every time. It was the egg or Crossfire and we decided that cutting the egg and keeping Crossfire was probably a good move. I'm not sure though cause this thread brings back some awesome egg on egg combat memories for me.

Wait, if it was egg or Crossfire which came first?

And how in the world did you have egg vs egg battles without crossfire? Better get yer stories straight.

But in all seriousness, I think this should be a skill in this game. It's COMPLETELY BALANCED

Maybe he could finally get his own bot. Even a wave of blackjacks.

See, I'm not so sure. The tank has synergy with the bouncer, but the gunner doesn't - he can't even keep up with the damn thing! Then again, the tank having blackjacks would make him even better at pushing lanes, but I'm not sure if he needs the extra help... It goes both ways, I think.

Or the gunner could just have mines instead of a grapple....

I suggested they be kind of egg shaped and that they would blend into the terrain on your team's side of the map.

The Gunner is Hawaiian. They should be coconuts, not eggs.

Mother of god, this is an amazing idea. The protag for killing 5 eggs in one match could be 'Bust a nut'.

Kill 10? "Nutcracker".

15? "Nutjob".

20? "Nut So Great"
