I always enjoy watching The Masters, and my golf team is just getting going. We have a few tee times this week at some nice courses. So who would like to discuss some golf?
Here in Holland, there's no real interest in golf. Mainly for rich people, I guess. I do like me some mini-golf
It's far more interesting depending on the place. There could be dragons, or igloos, or knights, or large wild animals, etc. Golf is too slow for me, but in general I don't follow sports.
For me, it's a good walk spoiled. I'm also rubbish at it. Happy Gilmore was my favorite movie when I were a lad, though.
Debatable, but at least you don't have cars constantly taking left turns several hundred times. On topic: I finally hit a golf ball 2 days ago for the 1st time. Shanked it right and hit a car. That's the last time I hit a golf ball.
Yea watching Golf for the most part sucks, but I like the Masters. Sometimes the U.S Open is good, and Pebble Beach, but generally I only watch the Masters.
Sorry I'm so late. Love to golf. Love watching the Majors. Was disappointed in my boy Phil. Didn't have that great of showing. F Tiger. Glad he didn't win.
I love golf. I also love watching it. I have to disagree with scathis though, its more like F Phil, and its too bad one of the greatest golfers in history didn't pull off one of the most amazing come backs in history. Say what you want about his personal life, but when it comes to golf Tiger is more amazing to watch than 95% of the other pro's out there.
I didn't start liking to watch gold until I started golfing. When I watch golf now I try and analyze their swings and (hopefully) learn something about what they do. I am sure it would be even better in person. I think a "sport" should involve some sort of ball. So no, NASCAR is not a "sport". Tiger does make golf more fun to watch, but lately I have been enjoying the kids coming out and kicking some ***.
It has nothing to do with his personal life. I saw an interview with him and the guy asked him who he thought the best golfer in the world was. He responded in the most smug, egotistical way I have every seen. I lost all respect for him. This was just last week.
Everyone on granprize is not like that. They all have respect for everyone, never trash talks, helps the community and they have a poster. Should i go on?
I get that. He can be pretty smug, but up until 2 years ago he was a monster. Granted right now he should be a little more humble since he is struggling, but having been around alot of elite athletes I have noticed it is just an attitude that gets built in. There are some that are able to ignore all of hype that surrounds them, but most can't and get an inflated ego.
