Upon closer inspection after having heard AdmiralGeneral's cries of confusion from being bested by a group of randoms. We have found a black hole if the form of factories that when assisted they take your eco and give you nothing in return. Steps to reproduce: Start building a structure. Select your factory and give it an assist order (using right click, not explicitly using the orders bar) on the structure before it completes building. Now assist the factory with as many fabbers as you can get your hands on and observe the build speed not increase. @mikeyh @pinbender Edit: Moderators (@cola_colin), would you be so kind as to move this to the Support forum.
I have noticed this too. Work-around: - Sometimes having the assisting units build something else, like AA, and then re-assisting the factory will help
