TF2 is now free on Steam

This baffles me as well.

The only reason I can think of is that hats, new weapons, old weapons, bugfixes, fun, and maps also ruined TF2. If it's TF2 related it must have ruined TF2.

People are worried that Valve won't be able to shake off the cheaters making new accounts.

So what's this hat I hear they're giving to people like me who bought the game years ago? Will it have some silly visual effects on it or something?

My girlfriend got me a voucher for Steam Wallet, under pain of death that I get the new Medic pack. I R SPEND MONEY ON VIRTUAL ITEMS. I spent the change on the Engineer's cowboy hat and painted it brown. Which was nice.

I like the new Syringe Gun. My preferred Medigun is the Kritz, so the speed boost is always there for me. The Overhealer is good for defending. Sometimes. The taunt is awesome, as is the Pocket Medic.

I'm not good at TF2, so I play Medic. I can **** around in MNC because I'm reasonably OK at it.

Is there a lower limit on how much you need to spend, FAQs said any money spent gets you a premium account..
