Option 1- Imagine the map Ammo Mule Arena. The match begins with a neutral territory in the middle hut. A team must escort their bots to the territory to get the shields down. Then, they must sit in the hill KotH style until they control it. Only the team whose bots destroyed it can cap, otherwise the other team must escort their bots to shift it towards their favor, then cap. Once capped, the zone then changes to the losing team's original money ball. If the winning team takes it, they win. If taken by the losing team, it goes back to the middle. If bots can't be programmed to spawn and go towards their own moneyball, then just have it be 1st to control the middle territory. Option 2- Neutral money ball in the middle of the map. The team whose bots break the shields gains a $500 bonus. Both teams must lay down fire on the money ball. The first team to rack up $10,000 worth of damage wins. The money amounts could be tweaked with testing. These game types would also be great to employ the scratched "neutral turrets" mechanic.
i like it actually could cause some real hectic tug of wars..... imagine 1 team retreating with the money ball only to run into a wall of deployed firebases and HG's lol then watching it go back the other way.... this could be well EPIC....
both ideas sound great. i wouldnt mind playing either one of those. time to flank and spank
I think a neutral moneyball game as an idea is a good one. The first idea listed is good, but I think that the neutral Ball should get it's own team of Bots that spam out towards the Pro Bases.
