"Terraria for Bros" - Terraria (SMNC) Server

Want to hang out and build stuff on Terraria with your favorite buddies? Hop on in here.

The server should be up 24/7-ish. There will be downtime either to add new plug-ins, various maintenance, or an unexpected outage. This server is run on my own machine and internet connection.

Upon joining the server for the first time, you are required register on the server. To register:

Code:

/register <password>

After that, the next time you sign back onto the server, you will see the server will suddenly have a password. The password will be what you used to register in the server. (That way, I can give you proper permissions to build and access more commands as you become an outstanding citizen on the server).

If you want to build a structure on your own, make sure you build away from spawn (a.k.a. The Huge Castle). If you want unlimited building resources, let me know either on Steam, the SMNC community mumble, or on this thread and I'll come by to get you set up.

It is recommended to make a new character and explore the land for yourself.

Rules

NO DIRT TOWERS OR PATHS
1) No Griefing / Stealing (buildings, signs, etc.)
2a) If you want to explore for minerals / resources, do it on a new, clean character
2b) If you want to build, you may use your main characters
3) Put a sign on the entrance of your home to let others know it's your property
4) Don't be a ****. My verdict is final.
5) Don't ask for promotions / to become a mod/admin
6) Don't force the server to go on hard mode
7) Don't make hellivators, Oblivion Knight has already made one to the right of spawn (Though, David_nerfl and I fixed it so that the hellivator goes straight down instead of taking a million detours).
8) Bring your friends! The server is open for anyone, especially for the SMNC goers.
9) Housing spacing is unlimited at this time (until the server gets crowded).

Actually in their FAQ, they wanted to release it around early next year. No promises on that though.

Well, that 1 friend who has played terarria this whole time, might bring HIS friends. He is a gamestop manager, he tends to be good at gathering people to play something.

So, yeah, theres that. It is still a maybe, I am not sure I will get terraria.

One question, can everything you do on singleplayer, bosses and exploring and all, be done on multi?

When I build, it's purely for function. I explore in Terraria.

can I make gas chambers?

I made a Hellavator along with a small building for item management and resting. It is right by Mutantegg's house so I suppose the bed wasn't necessary but oh well.

I saw you were on the server. Hello there.

Built a grotto to the east (right) of the buildings everyone else have made so far. It is past the pool of water in the blue lands. Too lazy to look up correct terminology.

Did lots of work on it. Prob going to have to remake the journey, since I can't produce a bed easily.

Anyone have tips on aquiring a bed?
