You know playing MNC has brought me some great new friends to play with on XBL and not just in MNC but multiple games. Fable, Halo, Black Ops, etc. One of the best parts of new friends is learning about people a lil bit.

Well some of you I havnt played against and i never get a good inside look at some of you players out there (Some of you on the camwhore thread gave us to much of a look and no details ;) )

consider this thread an advanced introduce yourself.

    About Me?
My name is Danny Hoffmann, I am 23 years old and attending college for Graphic Design. I would eventually like to get into the Video Game business because i love writing up game ideas and character creation. I do mostly pencil art when i draw them up to go with all the information. Aside from that i am a professional photographer. I own a business called Picture This Event (http://www.picturethisevent.com). Me and my partner go around Chicago to various night clubs and events to photograph people and the event itself.
Last summer i worked the Exxxtacy Porn show at the Stephenson Convention Center and will be working with them more this year(its a big convention center in Chicago), I also shot pics at a car show at Soldier Field(the Bears Stadium) over the summer working with a contractor from Camel Cigarettes and RJ Reynolds. My school life ties into the photo business cause a lot of the people i work for have me make flyers, backdrops, business cards and any other necessary advertising required.

if curious check out these links to some of my flyer work and artsy photographs ive taken :)

    Nice to meet you, Danny...

...HEY WAIT! this is the "introduce yourself" thread >.<

o well, we have like 20 threads talking about juice balances, might as well have 2 about something that isnt a troll's winter wonderland.

I am BroTranquility, mispell my username with no second "I" because of a lost first acct on xbox live. My name is Kyle Dillon, born on march 4, 1991.

i graduated in honors classes with a 3.7 gpa, yet i dont capitalize or punctuate if i can get the jist across without them. its who i am, very base, not too cosmetic, most call me rude but i am just earthly.

i work security right now, may end up becoming a police officer. i live in southeast houston, in texas.

i took military classes and 4 classes of spanish, am good with computers, and like video games and computer stuff. jack of all trades, master of very few tho.

i like street fighter. i like street fighter. that was not a typo. i felt like if i didnt say it, someone would bring that up. anywho, i dont like street fighter any more than mnc or any less, but i do like it. im part of team flamebait. i like jackie chan movies, old and new alike

i am not terribly social, but i do like persons and all; i generally hate people as a whole, maybe i should just be someplace with more intellegent people that do the right thing more often than not. i seem to like those kinds of people, im very primitive and base so sometimes they dont like me back but i do like self-improvement and friendly competition and hate arguing but like good points being brought up.

so, porn caught your eye then.

which automatically means this is what you ended up reading.

either way, he just does graphic design. everyone needs that. he wouldnt be a bad person for working for anyone, and would probably be a worse person for declining to work for someone.

It was more of a case of him just saying that he worked for them, I just saw the words "Last summer i worked the Exxxtacy Porn show" and not the part where he said he was a photographer.

And you can't really blame me, porn is an ostentatious word.

I was born January 17th, 1992, and I just turned 19. I'm a Freshman at a State College here in California (currently undeclared), and I'm a mathematical genius. I'm pretty average at all other subjects, but Math is a really big academic strong-point of mine. Went to a top-ranking high school centered around math and science because of that (see: CAMS), which is where I met DistinctQuantic, yroppydbear, Sno0chieBoochies, and Ms. SXD24.

I do indeed have a girlfriend, but she lives on a different college campus 2-3 hours away from where I live, and EVERYONE knows that constantly making a 4-6 hours drive is anything but fun. As such, whenever I don't sign on or you see me playing Scott Pilgrim/Left 4 Dead, that usually means the Mrs has come over for a visit.

Been a gamer all my life, and have loved every minute of it. I've owned several consoles (SNES, SEGA Genesis, SEGA GameGear, N64, and every single iteration of Gameboy/DS ever made, just to name a few), and have a collection nearing around 400-500 games now. Been offered to enter the competitive circuit a few times, but never really got interested in it.

My games with the most play time include: Gears of War 1/2, Left 4 Dead 1/2, Monday Night Combat, Test Drive: Unlimited, and a good number of Pokemon games.

Outside of Xbox, I am an avid Pokemon collector/battler, and will be happy to hold matches against anyone that asks (I main a Dark-only team for lulz). Be wary though - I know what I am doing.

I also do a bit of art on the side, both digital and handmade, as a hobby. I do own a deviantart and similar websites, but all the artwork is old, outdated, and non-MNC related, so I'd rather not link them.

I try to be fairly nice to everyone, even though I can be a bit of a troll sometimes. Sarcasm is a second language to me, or so I've been told, so if I say something minorly offensive about you, it's only a joke. Calm down. Jeez.

    Also, I made this:

I have a Bachelors in Fine Arts and Music Education. Graduated from college ahead of schedule. Was a teacher for a few years then ditched that and became a DJ in NYC. After a few years of fun, travel, and dodging marriage I moved back to my home city and somehow parlayed a degree in the arts into a marketing position for a wellness company. Eventually became the community manager because they heard about the Internet and realized their clients used it. Economy began to suck, went back to school after a lay off and I earned an Associates in Business Administration/Marketing. Now I'm one of the creative and social media directors for an original web content portal. For fun I do some stand-up, but mostly sketch, & improv comedy in both Philadelphia and NYC and host a weekly comedy deathmatch. I'm also an avid track cyclist and practice jiu-jitsu. Right now I'm watching the Larry Sanders Show on Netflix and contemplating ordering delivery chinese since the chicken caesar I had a few hours ago for dinner just isn't cutting it.

    I'm Hudson.

I'm 24 if my count is correctly. Formerly a Law Student, I currently work for an Oil and Gas Properties Company doing something called Title Abstracting in Louisiana. I like to dress in some pretty nice business clothes, and my roommate has trouble explaining what I do when people ask about me, so he just tells them I'm a Hitman and/or Drug Dealer.

I've been a gamer for as long as I can remember. My favorite game of all time is Super Metroid because it was the first game I ever felt had an atmosphere that filled the entire room I was playing, despite it only being 16-bit. Such amazing sounds, music, and visuals that came from that game. Red Brinstar and Lower Norfair's themes from that game still send chills down my spine, and I have fun trying to explain what they are doing on my Ipod for my uninitiated gamer friends. Speed runs were fun, but I'll spend HOURS playing that game and rediscovering every nook and cranny of planet Zebes.

First big multiplayer game for me (after goldeneye) was the original Day of Defeat, a mod for the original counterstrike on PC. After that it was Halo 2, followed by Call of Duty 4.

I left Shooters for awhile to play AoS mods of RTS games like Dota and later, League of Legends. Needless to say, when I heard about the concept for monday night combat (AoS RTS games meets shooter) I was a BIT excited.

I love progressive music. My favorite bands at the moment: Dream Theater, Opeth, Transatlantic, Beardfish.

I'd list more, but I don't feel like copying and pasting my ENTIRE sexysingles.com profile.

Growing up I studied eskrima and balisong forms. I'm Filipino so it was either that or the piano. . . I ended up learning both. If you're all about winning trophies for your Tiger Schulmann's then YAY KID GOOD FOR YOU ESKRIMA, but it's not particularly practical unless you intended on carrying a stick around at all times.

Don't you move down from weapons to hands?

basically there is a list of basics for the juitsu's that you learn. really more of a background and discipline and balance and stance and rolls, stuff to feel more in control of movements.

then you learn everything at once, slowly. weapons and hands both together, piece by piece.

least, thats usually the progression in bujinkan-based martial arts training i believe.

jiujuitsu alone is usually taught as heavy grapples with some bread-and-butter basics on stance and other things. jiujuitsu is however part of ninjuitsu, and only covers the grapples when taught with that.

actually, isnt it taught alone a brazillian martial art? with a lot of fluid movement and strikes based around indirect movement to someone, as well as heavy grapples of course? its like that break-dancing junk i seen before, maybe im wrong.

anywho, i find juijutsu slightly more practical. yet juijuitsu, karate, and takewando, are all very predictable as far as practicality. as far as takewando, of course they will kick. learning different ones tho, even if only a little bit of a different martial art to go with the one you learned well, will help you mix up more, as well as predict attacks of people using other martial arts, instead of being the one who is going for predictable targets with predictable strikes/grapples.
