Team Taterz Looking for Sniper (Other Classes Too!)

I'm looking to field a two sniper team team for upcoming tournaments. No offense to noobies, but if you haven't hit all star then you probably don't have the sort of experience I'm looking for.

Anyway, I'm a pretty good player, and I think with a few more pretty good players we can win some swag. So, if you want in post with your main class(es) and your general play style. Bonus points if we've played together.

(P.S. Open to team name suggestions as well)

What set up is a two sniper team class wise? I might be up for it if I'm home whenever the tourney is.

Well, for a six man game I've been wanting to try out a two support, two tank, two sniper team. Have them each lane independently in three man teams. Tank pushes forward, sniper and tank eliminate targets in tandem (explosive shots off of friendly tank FTW), and support locks down areas of the map with firebase while pushing back with airstrikes.

Anyway, I think it would be sweet to try that out, but overall I'm just looking for good players that can work together well. Class doesn't matter as much if you have the skill and can work in a team.

The point of specifically having two sniper is because they can lock down an entire lane like no other class, and I'd like to focus on team strategies that involve map control.

Team "dominated at mid range.".

The sniper and tank aren't going to be holding hands and skipping around together. Sniper should take the high ground while tank takes the low ground, whatever is mid range for the tank should be mid-long for the sniper.

Anyway, just something that I think would be fun to try out, might not work, but I personally think that it could work very well.

EDIT: Also, tank could just as easily be replaced with gunner or assault. Perhaps one squad with a tank and one with a gunner or assault.

Just an fyi the FraggedNation tourny is 5v5.

I'm aware of that. I'd like to throw together a six person team so we would have enough for any tournament, but obviously for the FraggedNation tourny I would only use five.

I play sniper, gunner, and assault well. I play differently depending on the situation. If I play sniper, I play defensive-offensively. Normally setting up traps and kill zones to kill players and bots. Sometimes I get the wild urge to be a one-man wrecking crew with explosive rounds and head shots. :lol:

If I play gunner, I typically become a slayer/turret killer. Between my Accuracy/RoF/Armor build and my Armor/RoF/Accuracy build, I am a force to be reconed with. Surprise is on my side when playing gunner due to my choices in fighting style.

Assault is different every game for me. Sometimes I am an armored up close and personal assault, other times I am a mid to long-range beast with a no-armor build. I am currently experimenting with a skill recovery build to add to my collection of ideas.
