Right now teams are randomly placed, however I find the randomizer has a penchant for choosing the same or similar teams each round. If you have mostly the same players, you will have mostly the same teams. The problem with this is that in a pub, it is rare for players to have some sort of an epiphany and start playing well or a team of randoms to have a dramatic strategy shift that can change the tide of games. If a team gets stomped and you have the same 6v6 again, they will get stomped again.

The randomizer needs to seek to shuffle the teams a bit more between matches, otherwise it is very easy for one team to keep stomping the other team.

Note this is aside from being able to play with other players. Even with being able to form groups the randomizer that forms teams taking those groups into consideration needs to be more willing to change the teams up a bit from round to round.

Agreed. I also end up on team Icemen like 90% of the time. So far the only way I get into team Hotshots is to join a server where only slots on team Hotshots are open. In the next round I'll end up on team Icemen again though. And I have heard similar reports from other players. I think there is a bug in the randomizer.

Agreed. The randomizer seems to only work.. 10% of the time? Or rather, maybe one person might be on a different team but that's about it.

They just need to add admin moving players around teams, and make sure third party apps can access the teams list, then people can make their own randomizer, matchmaker, or team stacker, depending on how they want to run their server.

Agreed. Although I would like a version that works out of the box without the need to intervene from admins or players.
