I was just wondering if anyone still plays this game, ive never played it but was gonna get it as it looks fun. I checked their forums an for some reason it shows posts from august, does anyone still play it anymore? I know its an oldie but ive seen vids on youtube an its pretty similar to this so i thought i would check it out.

Anyone on here still play or know if it still has enough players online to make it worth buying?

Repost as i put it the wrong section

Console version is better at times. Like when there arent class restrictions on medic and spy while there are sentries at spawn.

Pretty much because no new spy watches. Spies are actually scary and you have to watch out for them.

It's pretty much dead over there. I used to post there a lot - I got a thread with update information stickied. But once VALVe, in their typical roundabout way, admitted that they had thought that Microsoft would change their terribad update system so that they could release constant patches like for the PC version I gave up.

Then I heard about this neat little XBL online shooter that was "cartoony like that game you used to play"...

I don't play it because it's basically public privates, and the console versions get no support, i'd be an amazing spy if i had all the stuff the pc has

I tend to play it from time to time but the thing is most of the players who play are seasoned vets. It's almost impossible for you to build a sentry and expect it to stay together for more then 2 minutes.

If you can run it, play it for PC! It is still a lot of fun, even with the retarded pay items.

Cause spies can be invisible and invincible at the same time. And now you can't hear them.

I gotta say this video is pretty much hit the nail on the head of the game.

tf2 is amazing on PC its the only way i have played it and i must say the skill cap is is incredibly high on pc for all classes, of course the noobie classes like soldier and demo are easier to get used it but harder to be great with

I used to play this, when it first came out. I don't think very many people play it on xbox, but I know a lot of people still play on PC. Just find a server that you like, and people that you like, and play it. Its probably only like $15 or something like that.

Don't expect it to be like MNC though, its quite different even though they look the same and have the same class system.

EDIT: Also pc people get updates. Like new weapons and items. xbox didn't get anything.

I used to love TF2. Used to being a key word, they absolutely raped their beautiful artstyle and subtle humour until it became like a self-parody or something. I still play it, but I kind of miss the glory days...

Wrong. The 360 version got a game-breaking update that allows talentless hosts to lock out classes that they can't deal with as their preferred class...Or even block the enemy team from spawning at all
