In a similar vein to this thread, Played a pretty epic 4v5 yesterday (video out tomorrow) and one thing I thought might be very useful is having coloured transparent overlays that players can draw onto the map. This can be used to name and refer to attack and defense fronts on the map and specify bases and areas of influence for each player on your team. Referring to main pink base, green expansion point, red defensive front etc would make communication quite significantly easier imo.
Would be cool to have like a drawing board mode where you can just draw circles, arrows and other **** during the game to plan out tactics and stuff
+1000 A "draw on the map" feature is more than necessary. A very simple tool, like on Spring engine (hold an hotkey to directly draw with your cursor), is so powerfull, it would be a mistake to not do it.
