Spring beams ARE instant hit weapons unlike in TA were they were straight high velocity projectiles ...
it does't matter if PA has projectile simulation ..
if there is no RPS, if there is no propper roledesignation/definition to units
if units are just there to be spammed to shoot at each other in varius ways for looks then people wont take this game serious ... they would look at it as a game merely for funzies and nothing more ..
i played BA yesterday ... and imo it just has way too many units that both are not neccesary and make it just harder for a player to learn what composition to build ...

before you said you don't want to be forced to build all factorytypes
you said how you don't want to have to rely on vec or air to rely on antiairsupport basicaly asking for bot only to be viable on certain maps
and i said that there should be defintive disadvantages to neglecting the other factorytypes ..
botfac in PA is more about utility were vec is about clear roles and firepower, air for mobility obviously ...
in TA and BA from what i saw both factypes have many similar unitroles be that peewee or flash
or zeus and lightingtank f.e.
and that to me is unneccesary and at worst confusing ...
less units in that case might have been more imo
but whatever, doesn't look like we get to an understanding so i leave it here ....
