Does using the jet jump before charging increase the range of the skill at all? Thats all i am wondering right now but if you have any additional tips or tricks im all ears.
Not really. Have you tried tank jumping yet? If you don't know what that is, it's where you Tank charge from an elevated location and jump mid-air as you reach the end of the charge. You can use it to cover sometimes 4x the distance. Video
Thanks guys, love the community here, i have figured out the tank jump trick by accident about three days ago but i have gotten into a habit of always jet jumping before i charge or db , and i will take a look at hudsons guide. Once again thanks for the help .
Neat trick for juicers and assassins smokebomb jumping a lot when you charge: At the end of the charge and your in grapple range, railgun grapple. Like to call this trick "Running Palm", or Senkogushoha
Thanks for the tip but i have never had an assassian smoke bomb me in a charge. I do pubs and most assassians i play against are either money for my team or money for the other team. O_O. Picked the game back up several days ago and i wanted to main tank.
Walk with bots, or stand at a elevated position railgun-sniping bots and watching yours, and you will be fine. Try to be a little more mobile than not as well. Also recommend gold or bronze skill recovery, silver or gold rate of fire, and silver or bronze reload speed. Best endorsements for a tank, as my gold skillregen lets me spam product nades, my silver rate lets me spam railgun, and my bronze reload speed helps railgun spam while adding deathblossom spam. Armor is a good gold/silver spot too, as the tank will be able to survive ridiculous damaging moves, like assassinations and headshots.
