Tank Charge 3 on Flying Assasults

    I'm not sure if this is a new or intended bug, but I've been noticing it more and more lately. Mainly on grenade 3. I used to be able to knock assaults out due to stun knocking them down they couldnt get high enough to get back onto the arena.

    Now, recently, When I use my tank 3 charge on assaults, they stay floating in mid air and glide across the air backwards, losing no altitude. As a tank player, and as assaults already being able to wreck tanks, I dont like this at all. Not sure what causes it, but I didnt notice it before the patch.

    Higher skill level of the assault? Are they reacting quicker and getting airborne before you have a chance to hit 'em?

    No its after im hitting them, they are dizzy, the little bullseyes are floating on their head, but they are still flying and shooting whilst on their faces. In fact just recently I got grappled by an assassin while they were supposedly stunned,again the dizzy bullseyes being my key "they are stunned go get them" sign. It really makes the tanks charge feel useless half the time when it doesnt do what its intended to do, let alone worth the money you've invested in it.

    I'm sure I am going to get the "its probably lag" response. But when its not based on hit detection since I already know I hit them due to the dizzy animation, I dont feel like its lag.

    Unless I'm misunderstanding somthing, I'm not sure you understand how the "stun" works. All it does is make the person stunned walk slower. It doesn't have any effect on someone's ability to fly or grapple.

    While grapple may be so. Tanks level 3 actually knocked them down even whilst in the air pre-update. Now they just glide in the air on their faces. Also tank 3's description is "Adds enemy knockdown" Not "stuns."

    I was trying to describe the dizzy animation as it applies itself after struck by the tanks charge. Meaning it did connect.

    Sounds like they're just showing quick reactions with the hover key to me.

    If mashing the A button [or the assassins case alternate fire grapple] is a quick reaction I'd say lots of MNC players have quick reactions.

    Like I said. Pre-patch, My knocked down targets were actually knocked down. This is the problem.

    So originally I thought you meant they just shook it off and keep attacking but 'floating on their faces' makes me think you're saying they get knocked over but not brought to the ground, so the only dif is they're hovering when knocked down?

    Or are you saying they're still active and no knockdown/over happens at all?

    its more of the hovering part your getting at. my issue is I was able to ring out assaults that way, since they couldnt get high enough. Now I just end up launching them up and watch them glide right back. In that sense, yes they do not go down when they fall.

    After playing a little today, I think it only applies when your mid flight only, jump to charge them out of the air, and then they fail to go downwards.

    Playing an assault today I actually had this happen to me now. I believe its when your moving diagonally with an assault in the air with fly on, you just keep gliding in the air instead of get knocked down. It happened to me about 3 times in 7 games.
