I created a system with one size 4 planet with a size 1 moon, and a size 3 planet with a size 2 metal moon. I hosted it vs 1 player and was able to finish the game by colliding the size 1 moon into the size 2 metal moon. As the game ended, the opposing player was annihilated but the game never declared it. Their base and units exploded indicating annihilation, but it never said annhilated next to the still white (not gray) opposing player name. Also the game never 'ended' where I can choose to watch the replay. I had to reboot my computer and when I got back into the beta, the SYSTEM MANAGER was broken. I could see the system I had created and played but I couldn't load it, delete it or anything. I tried fully uninstalling PA but it didn't change anything. I had my brother try duplicating my system on his pc (he has the beta as well), and he was able to create the system, host it, complete the game by crashing the size 1 moon into the size 3 planet and then end the game and watch the review of the game. We were also able to go back into the system manager after the game and edit it and do everything we should be able to normally do. Is there any thing I can do to get this fixed???
I'm having the same problem with the latest patch, created a system and played on it, game ended prematurely due to patch coming in though and now i can't do anything with either the system i created or the System Manager overall, any new systems i create won't save. //Taros

Where do I find: PA/media/ui/alpha/start/ open start.js is this a path on my pc? I have windows 7 and can't seem to find this location.. I also noticed it say 'alpha' in the string...does it matter it's beta now?
I found it and followed the instructions but I did not see a wall of text. And problem is still there.
If you correctly changed the content of the start js it should have at least broken your normal main menu until you revalidate. Did it break it?
I dont think it should. Maybe, just maybe, Steam autovalidates the game by itself. Try to modify the start.js with steam not started and start PA.exe directly. You'll find it somewhere around the PA folder you found by now.
It didn't work. I opened the start.js file, deleted the contents, pasted file from you link, saved as start.js, closed folders and ran PA.exe. There was a quick flash of empty slots with headings and then it went to the beta page. Problem is still there. I even deleted the start.js file and ran PA.exe and then checked to find the start.js file back in the same location.
and you are starting PA.exe directly without and kind of launcher/steam in between? Is steam loaded while you do this? Sounds like something replaces the file with it's original version. You could also try to start PA first and change the file while PA is in the main menu already. Then press F5 in the PA main menu, it will reload the main menu and get the new version of the start.js
YOU'RE AWESOME! This fixed it. The code screen came up. I closed PA. Ran PA.exe. Verified files. It loaded to beta. I checked the SYSTEM MANAGER and it was working perfectly. Thanks again for your help. Do you want me to upload the screenshot of the code?
I can't seem to find a file type for the screenshot that the uploader likes...should i upload on your other link?
