The UI is awesome now it is possible to quickly place many planets and generate them at the same time. However, i noticed it is hard to keep track of planets when you are not sure where i placed them. So i thought about it and did a qucik mock-up. Description: An arrow is pointing toward a celestial body (planet, moon, asteroid (none yet) ) so it's very easy to check the position of a body. Next to the arrow is the type of the body and the biome. Type of body(Biome) The color is associated to the planet template color. Note that ice and earth biomes have similar color so it would be good to change. I also noticed that it is sometimes hard to keep track of the position of my camera in the solar system so i thought of an yellow arrow on the edge of the screen (here in the middle because we can see the star) always pointing towards the star with our distance from it. There is also a cursor position at the bottom left. I found it not very useful in other games editor because i always could have the entire map on the screen. The solar system is too big for the zoom and that's awesome. In the case if there are many bodies close to each other like an asteroid belt or many moons close to some planets, it could be useful to disable a type of celestial body to read the screen better. If you have any idea to improve my suggestions or you have your own, please post them!
gg, would be nice to have some planet icons when your all the way zoomed out. also be able to right click on icons such as astroid field to change their properties or make them invisible for easier viewing
