    Does anyone have any system building guides?

    I saw on PA brianpurkiss mention about a bad system will result in stalemates etc so I was wondering if there are any actual ideas on this.

    If not just post them here.

    I tried looking around pamatches.com (by the way what happened to that) but couldn't see one.

    Generally you want an odd number of superweapon planets to avoid stalemates. Try and keep total number of planets at 6 or lower. Make the spawn planet have the most metal to preserve its importance late game.

    eh, why an odd amount of superweapon planets? 1 metal planet can destroy just as much as 2 can

    Because you can often just Halley the metal planet out of existence.

    I havent made a system in ages but indeed, a bad system will not be fun to play or to look at. Try asking people for opinions if you made a map, maybe they see something you didn't see.
