To avoid this, employ these tactics:

Fly - If playing Assault, you can engage your jet pack and fly out of the trap.

Melee - If playing Assassin, you can melee (Right Stick) causing you to perform acrobatic kicks to avoid being shot, at least in the head. However, you can still be shot in the body.

Grapple - With all of the classes, equip your Secondary Weapon and use your Alternate Fire (Grapple) or mash on your Red Skill (only for Sniper and Gunner). This enables you to eradically thrust your head around and prevent the headshot from happening. Unfortunately, you can still be shot in the body. On the bright side, you have a higher chance of surviving.

This only works against Snipers whose only objective in life is to get headshots. All I do is body shot people. No amount of grappling/melee'ing is going to save you from that. Also I'm not so sure you should be telling people about the Assault. Don't know if that's an exploit or what yet since Uber hasn't said anything about it.

The Sniper Rifle does 225 damage per shot when scoped (only 100 when you're not scoped, but seriously, if you're using a Sniper Rifle and not using the scope then you are doing it wrong). Most MNC characters have tiny heads and move around a lot. Assaults, Assassins, Supports, and Snipers are all going to be moving back and forth unless they are absolutely retarded. With the latency issues that are so common in this game added onto that, it's pretty much impossible to land a headshot on anything other than a Gunner or Tank (and even then it's not always possible).

So which is better: to go for a headshot that is either all-or-nothing in a situation where, even if you have perfect aim, it might not register, or to go for a guaranteed 225 damage which you can repeat on a regular basis? Most people would go with the latter.

I can land headshots perfectly fine and my ping is at least 250 or more.

Just use Passive 1 for better hit detection.

Even with Passive 2 or Passive 3, it's only marginally hard to get a headshot when compared to Passive 1.

Hmm well I've got the 500 headshots protag... and I like getting kills. Quite frankly, it's not that I can't headshot people, it's that body shotting is much easier and no class can move their entire body. Even the Assassin's melee leaves her waist at about the same place. Why would I take the effort to get a headshot when body shots are easier to do?

That is how I play and I consistently get headshots. You snipers that rely on coward bodyshots need to learn how to aim.

Go play CoD. I'll use body shots if I want to. I'm not gonna be stuck up and say that only headshots matter. If a person on the opposing team dies, then it doesn't really matter how they died now does it? Fact is they're dead.

So you don't have the skill to get headshots noob.
