Exactly as title says, show the player the support is healing the support's health and juice status like the medic in tf2... people say supports don't heal... supports say the people they heal don't protect them, this seems like a welcome change to shift that attitude
This sounds good, mindful of where they put it at due to screen clutter, but there is space. Also, a support who doesn't protect himself is as useful as a defective turret. Someone apparently forgot to give him ammo, because he isn't using his shotgun for some reason. *click click click* "This time..." *click click click* "Howdy neighbor..." *click click click* "Hey, squeaky voice, can you give me some ammo?" Lol, that is what MNC Players need. There needs to be a tutorial to teach you what to do in certain sitations, and then there should be a course afterwards with an ejectable platform. You are asked to perform some tasks, and if you misstep, you get ejected.
This should happen in game.. play as a sin and kill less than 5 bots a minute... EJECTED! Well obviously the support should be doing all he can to stay alive but if a sin manages to grapple.. the tank/ gunner/ assault he's healing might be able to kill the sin mid grapple... also supports cant really do much against assaults... so having someone realise there is one and lay down fire is welcome
I liked TF2 and have mixed feelings about some of their features. This one I liked solidly! I just can't see how this game already has more screen clutter than TF2 though. It might be tricky to do without causing multiple supports healing you to block your entire combat view.
Just a health bar right over yours at half size should be reasonable. Half width, not length. if you have more then 2 supports healing you you aren't going to die no matter how much your vision is blocked.
Apart from the screen clutter, I see no problems at all with this. They could just put the bar near the edge of their HUD, kinda like how a support sees his patient's health.
