moar liek feet fidgeter looooong naeme editione m i rite?

Comes out Tuesday. 4 New Characters: Yun, Yang, Oni, and Evil Ryu. Everyone has been rebalanced. There's rumors that there are going to be 2 more characters exclusively for the consoles, but if there are I'm surprised that Capcom has withheld this information, usually all their stuff gets leaked.

Gonna be $15USD for a digital copy if you already have SSFIV, or $40USD if you want it on disc.

I'm pretty excited for Yun and Yang. Reminds me of the days when Gen wasn't beaten to death with a cancer-ridden nerf stick.

I'd like to try my hand on Yang, but I'll probably continue playing Rufus because everybody will probably be playing the twins.

I think I'll also pick up Adon.

At least the twins being hyped up means I don't have to worry about fireball zoning half the time.

Alright, last minute decided not to get AE because 3rd Strike: Online comes out this summer. Why play 3rd Strike characters in a game that isn't 3rd Strike? It'll also include GGPO, which if you're currently unaware, is basically a lag hiding technique that has been developed for fighting games to produce virtually lagless gaming. Much better than any other netcode currently out, and I look forward to more games utilizing it.

3rd Strike Online will basically be the first commercially released game to utilize GGPO I believe?

Of course it doesn't matter. 3rd Strike is the pinnacle of skill and I got none of that.

Let's talk about all of our most noticed changes so far:

-I hear all charge-character's ultra imputs were changed to charge imputs. Bison's used to be quarter-circles-forward-punch, now its double-back-forward-charge-punch. Chun-li's is the same way.

-Seth's Jumping Stretch-Arms has been completely removed. His jumping hard punch is only a dropping elbow, no matter how he does jumping hard punch stretching arms no longer comes out. He was given a health buff admittingly, but i'll always miss stretching arms jumping.

-Gen was given 2 target combos, and the 1st one is standing hard punch into standing medium kick which could land a light gekiro (but you can already combo hard punch into hard hands), but the second one is crouching light kick into crouching medium kick which is damn good for crouching armor-breaking and then even comboing into light gekiro.

-Vega's ultra1 was given noticably better speed, as well as a lot of character's ultras. I think he might have been given a mild damage buff on his normals or better health, he generally seems to play better.

What? They changed Bison's II ultra? The thing that made it balanced (in my opinion) was that it was really weak for an ultra, but really easy to input vs his other ultra which was the exact opposite. His II was more defensive, and to be used in a pinch, while you have to set up his I offensively.

I'm just raging because I play Bison. :D

I felt the same way. They were charge characters, having an imput ultra was really important.

The opponent won't risk anything if you are defensive crouched, you are obviously charged for an imput. Walking straight forward, you can lure the opponent because they don't think you have anything ready to prevent or counter it, and then BOOM!!!

I think they simply changed the imputs of other characters too. IDK why. I think Rose's ultra2 is just quarter-circles in a different direction. Not a big deal.

However, I guess they could use a nerf. Sorry you played a high tier character, since I played low tier I enjoyed the buffs instead of hated the nerfs.

I just wanted to say that you misspell input the same way BroTranquilty did. Funny how he also loved to talk about Street Fighter and type inane difficult to read posts.

I just thought everyone here should know that.

I thought you were rage-quitting the forums... :?

No, I type "Imput" correctly. At least in this context.

The game is kind of hard to describe, as shown in the same forum as the spelling.

Also, I am a member of that forum too.

But I have not been a member of this forum before, I joined with someone else a week ago. I am not this guy.

I still haven't purchased it yet.

I want to, however, considering Viper got EVEN BETTER than she was in SSFIV, and Makoto got the buffs she needed to overcome the fact that the SFIV engine works against her in every possible way.

    Mako-chan <4

Or I could just wait for 3S. I might just do both, as a 3S Makoto player (I also play Remy and Elena on the side). And I played her back when everybody thought she was mid-tier!
