Suggestion : A Starting Count Down + Commander preselected

Hi everyone !
I did a quick research and coudn't find anything related to this.

Have you ever been in this situation where you are ready long before your opponent and so while he is chosing his spot, you keep on analysing the surrounding of your starting point when suddenly the game starts and you have to panicly focus on your commander (which is a little more complicated in a team game) in order to start building.

I think a short count down before the start of game would be a nice small add to the game and maybe also make the commander you placed on the planet already selected at start.

What do you all think ? Wouldn't that be more comfortable ?

Good, yet simple ideas. Easy to add and obviously should-be's by default. Heck, I might even make this a mod and give you credit, although if anyone else is reading this and wants to make it a mod go right on ahead but make sure to give him credit for the idea lol.

I thought about it already, but it would only work in 1v1. Team games would have a lot of problems if the mod just selected the commanders at the game start.

Meh, still a good mod idea. Since there is debate over the original concept, I can get away with not sourcing anyone and let everyone argue over ownership lol.
