Right now, if you want to zoom out to system view, you zoom out to maximum distance on planet view, keep turning the scroll wheel, and suddenly, you're in system view, locked to looking straight down. To me, this feels kind of clunky - I think I'd prefer a system where you continuously zoom out to system view, rotating around the planet you were on - and to center on a different planet, you just move the cursor over that planet, and use the scroll wheel. Basically, do what Sins of a Solar Empire does for interplanetary zoom (hey, it works there!)

    Anyone else feel this way?

    Would be nice.

Until then, by default, you can tap or double tap the period '.' key. That will send you immediately out to system view. The comma key ',' will even send you directly to the next planet.

That'd be great. Zooming out and then clicking on a nearby planet to focus it is what I was trying. I didn't realize I could keep zooming out further.
