I just purchased PA: Titans, and while the game runs absolutely smoothly most of the time, once more intensive fighting starts, there's always a constant stutter, until the explosions stop – FPS drops AND sound stutter.
I have the Steam version. No such stutter occurs in regular PA (non-steam version).

    My specs are:
    Intel i7 860 @ 2,8 GHz
    Nvidia GTX 770
    8GB RAM @ 1600 MHz
    Windows 7 Ultimate 64x

    Thank you for any help.

Hello, thank you for responding. Both the dxdiag and the PA logs are too long to be posted here :(
I'll have a look into that update...

So I don't really see where to get the FMOD libraries. Also, I just installed the game today, directly downloaded from steam, so I suppose they should be up-to-date (?)...

Looking at your DXDIAG your graphics drivers are a bit out of date:
    " Driver Date/Size: 11/10/2015 02:48:08, 15726592 bytes"

The latest driver for you card can be downloaded from here:
    http://www.geforce.co.uk/drivers/results/107592

It's worth trying that first before anything else, as PA is quite sensitive to graphics drivers.

Download links for the FMOD files are on the wiki.

You should also update your 2015 drivers:

The stuttering might also be swapping as you only have 8GB and are playing on a local server.

Make sure you have plenty of RAM free.

It seems right now, that turning off music helps. Or at least makes the stutter less noticeable.

So far, I have only been playing the Galactic War campaign, so it probably should not be server-related... thanks for the suggestion

Good point. I'll try that later, now, with music off, and little time left, I'll keep on playing, as driver updates frequently have uneqpected consequences...

I would update your FMOD libraries.
