On the steam page, multiplayer is listed as having a ten player limit, they should state that you can have unlimited players on a custom server.

They can't, because that would indicate they support custom servers, which they don't.

Can't we host our own server and do custom colors and slots?

Yes, but this is only possible through stuff that modders have made possible, it's not supported by Uber by default. Uber just left a few bits exposed so that modders could do their thing.

Not necessarily making your own server requires no mods, and you could probably connect to one without the us of PA Stats if the game had a build in "connect to ip" thing and the server was port forwarded. (There is a mod for that) or am I wrong on how that'd work.

Yes, you could also install one of those VPNs so everybody would appear to be on the same LAN. But the fact that it's possible with some tricks doesn't mean that it's supported. It's like how IKEA hacking allows you to make different stuff. It won't say on IKEA's website either that this chair can also be modified to be a coffee table. :)

To be fair, trying to follow IKEA instructions means you're as likely to end up with a bastardised coffee table as a chair anyway.

Seven years later and I still have a scar from when I tried to assemble a bed frame and had to be rushed to the emergency room at the nearest hospital and get stitches. Yes, true story...

Now this is the best illustration of the saying 'a picture says a thousand words' I've ever seen... Ouch!

Ok then... Let's stay away from that one.

Also, sorry, I feel I slightly derailed this thread.

I think I developed a fear of thorn bushes when playing Ratchet and Clank and Jak at a young age. I would always die to the nasty looking thorn vines.

midbeam.png Pro-tip: While executing step 9, take care on how you hold the left part while sliding it out.
