I have build 50256 and have PA linked with my Steam account. Steam's not finding any update. When I launch PA I tells me that a newer version is available and to goto Ubernet and get it.
NM, Closed and reopened Steam and now it work. Seems like any time I have trouble with a steam game that's the solution.
Yup, been having the same issue at times with Steam... Appears to be a steam issue... Hope they fix it soon.
I think steam just checks for updates when it starts, and every so many hours (or whatever). I've noticed that I usually get game updates when I start my computer, but not really when it's on, since I only start steam once and have it run in the bg.
If the game does not update properly after a new version, go to Library, right click on Planetary Annihilation in the list, go to properties/Local Files and the execute the verify integrity of game cache. it should download the new updated files after the check is done.
