I tried to play Blitz again today. I REALLY tried, but the first 60-70 rounds are so incredibly boring. Is there any chance that in the future we could just skip the first 60 rounds or so with a fair sum of money? Also, I don't know if you are adding some increasingly difficult waves after 140 in the DLC, but if you aren't, could you think about doing so?

I agree...after round 140 its the same thing. Me and my friend made it to round 1.383...imo..i think blitz is just too easy to begin with.

Don't be surprised when that term is thrown around a lot more in the future having it thrown in my face the amount of times it has.

Blitz mode will become more interesting once the juice purchasing cooldown is in effect, I believe.

Alternate proposal: Psycho Blitz Mode. Any of the regular modes are available, but the starting difficulty is equivalent to round 50 of Sudden Death, you get more money at the start and time to prepare, juice machines are disabled, Ejectors are disabled, the Annihilator is disabled, and the difficulty peaks much higher at round 500 instead of 100. If you can make it further, you can unlock a new, more-difficult starting point every fifty rounds. Of course, each starting point would reflect a new leaderboard...Or even better, no leaderboards at all

super sudden death blitz = super street fighter 4

every time i look at it, it evolves from a remake of something already too similar to care, to something much more expanded and made much less boring and much more streamline and fun. just like SSF4 did from vanilla.

Well the reason for that is iteration and learning from what worked and what didn't. We didn't expect people to get to 2000+ rounds in Sudden Death so once you have that data point and feedback, you can improve and tweak it.

For those who don't know the Blitz mode was an after thought sort to say. When I first joined these forums I read about that somewhere. So yea, dig it up. lol

So if anything Blitz should have just as much focus as Crossfire does for improvements.

yeah, the original game idea was to design everything around a team vs team base-defence objective-combat mode, eventually to become "crossfire". blitz was then made from the same ideas, but the game wasnt designed around blitz, it just used already made and balanced ideas from crossfire to form a team cooperative mode.
