the game runs, well, the main menu is as far as i can get it, i can view planet edit and do stuff with the planet, but does not change from a yellow ball,.... sun i guess. i can not play from that bit, so i try logging in, to use the signal player, which come to no avail, i have an account, but it does not see it, saying it has not been activated (my account that is or something like that). so i try the alpha symbol on main screen, which opens a new window with "incoming transmission" and that is where it says, no buttons, no video, i am lost from this point, as it freezes, i know it an alpha, i like playing and testing things, but I'm stumped with this one.
i had this too turns out you have to zoom out and youll see a planet in orbit and you can zoom in, hope this helps that. as for your other problems, did you buy the game through steam or uber?
ah, that i did not try, that defiantly helps thank you i bought the game through steam, when i try to log in, it come up with "title has not been activated"

i bought mine through steam aswell, your getting further then i did, ^ this guy stole what i was gonna say here... and if it doesnt work i had to wait a few days then i could play so try that
how might i go about linking them properly? as my steam uses this - in my username and uber doesn't like those in names,.... i've also tried singing in with my steam name which didn't work
It is helpful to 99% of people having trouble with PA. The fullscreen thing because it makes it easier to use forums and bug tracker while playing, and the dxdiag so people know how to "send a crash report" for PA if it isn't working for them otherwise we have no clue why PA is crashing for them. Very helpful sig. I'd like to believe mine is as helpful for SMNC. Also, you link by going to your activation key at that link, and using your Forums name. That is what the game links to, your forum name, and the forums creates a "key" in your forum name's "store" history. So, use your forum name. As long as that is the name you want, you can always quickly make another forum name to use with the name you really wanted. Just leave out the dash. Really, through steam the game SHOULD use your steam name as ingame name I believe.
yeah it used mine so it should defiantly work, if there are any problems wait a couple of days or keep fiddling around
interesting,.... i have tried using that naturally thinking it would work as it does with many other things. i will wait a few days and see what happens, hopefully it will work
