Hi Uber, A bug that has lasted a long time is the failure to remove the "Start Annihilation" button after having selected the position. The button just remains there no matter how many times it is clicked upon until the game starts. Below are the screenshots. Thanks for fixing the bugs, keep up the good work!
Do you have any mods installed? Please run the game without mods to verify if a mod is interfering. In Steam: Right-click the game in the Library Select Properties In the General tab, select the Set Launch Options button Type --nomods and select OK In the Launcher: Log into your account In the upper right-hand corner, select the dropdown list on your username Select Build Options Under "stable", type --nomods and select SAVE This will run the game without any mods to verify there isn't a mod interfering with the game. If the issue resolves, there is a broken mod affecting the game. If the issue has not resolved, please let us know.
I'd like to second this report. It happens only on occasion so I have no repro steps, but my gut at the time felt as though it might be a race condition one can trigger when the game is still a bit choppy from having just loaded the system/planets. Maybe OP can post his or her specs / other observations.
Now that I think of it I have this problem too, I just never thought about it. Edit: though I'd have to try playing without mods to make sure
Yeah, it happens very rarely for me to. I have the feeling it only applies to team games, but it doesn't happen often enough to say for sure. I think I had it once in the last two months or so? But to be clear, It's just a graphical bug, the game will still start with the commander landing at the selected position and the button will disappear then.
Here's a thought, have you tried hitting 'f5' to refresh the ui after you get this? That fixes a multitude of small glitches with coherent in my experience....
