Apparently uses random selection. Just sign into this and if you've been rejected it'll let you know instantly. http://starwars.ea.com/starwars/battlefront/alpha I didn't get in .
Wow, when you say instantly you really mean "As soon as you log in". Why even have the application process if you've already decided who gets to play?
Well according to the thingy I read it's random so I guess it's more of a "do you want this" thing. I really hope at least ONE of us gets in. Need some eyes on the ground on that game.
They're probably like "Oh, this person hasn't bought a single game on Origin, they just keep getting our games through Humble Bundles and free deals" XD
Nah that time I got it off the store. Probably didn't help I took that $5 BF3 deal ages ago. I might've even gotten it for free... Don't remember. I have one other game that I got from that "On the House" thingy and Medal of Honor: Warfighter. And good god do I regret buying that thing. Might as well have bought a front-row ticket to a paint-drying show.
Gameplay videos are leaking out from the alpha. EA isn't very happy about it. But there are some snippets out there.
You know it really scares me that EA doesn't want us to see anything that hasn't had their personal stamp of approval stuck onto it.
A LOT of companies have nondisclosure agreements. A big part if it is the press hype. Giving snippets of info to the public, it's why Fallout 4's game play didn't show off the entire beginning, or go really in depth with things everyone's asking questions about. (The big changes made) and probably because of time constraints but whatever. ;P
Yeah but there's like 30 minutes of Fallout footage just from E3. There's about 6 from Star Wars Battlefront.
