Hey - you know the build panel? I'm sure I saw a mod that stacked this instead of making you scroll? Anyone recall what the mod was called? I did a search but found nada.
I keep a close eye on mods and haven't heard of one that can do that. I would love to know if someone has made it though (and would probably make it if no one has) because it would be quite useful.
I don't remember seeing it either. I actually haven't tested Cola Colin's hotbuild. I wonder if it's similar to the mod for Forged Alliance. I pretty much never touched the build panel after playing with it.
Yeah ... it isn't in the hotbuild mod. The hotbuild mod doesn't change the way the UI appears at all... unfortunately. Basically hotbuild starts breaking once you go T2, because the list of buildings grows too long and you start losing the ability to select stuff with a hotkey on the UI... It means I have to start using the b key judiciously to cycle to the correct panel to build stuff, like catapults. Ah damn it... It was probably all my imagination then... darn it. Maybe I thought I saw a ***** cat, or maybe I thought I saw something in a GUI mock up thread... Hmmph.
My hotbuild mod was based on the concept of the FA hotbuild mod. I skipped the preview because I never really needed it in FA either
