Squad Numbers

    All of the Assaults are 81,
    All of the Tanks are 34,
    All of the Supports are 52.

    Maybe the numbers are clone ID numbers.

    Would be nice if, when creating a custom class, one could pick a different number. Might work well if an update allows us to perform some GM on the custom classes.

    Picking your own squad number would be a fantastic, yet simple change which would not add anything imbalancing to the game!

    I like the idea, however isn't noticable really. Are you really going to be trying to stare at what number someone is? It would be nice if you were given a random number at game start and it "glowed" to make it stand out - this would allow for better team communication. Example right now we say Assassin is always going to "location" but they have 2 other assassins. If they had a number we could say "#86 is always going to xxx" so if we see that Assassin run past us - we know she isn't there. Alot more scenerios (better) ones can apply but cant think right now.

    The current MVP on each side could have their number glow brightly, so all around would know who is attributing the most. Of course assassins would only glow when not stealthed!!! I did think about Killstreak increasing the glow of your number but for me MVP would be better

    You can put the squad number on the protag.

    As to everyone using 69/23/7 or other popular numbers, well if they want to express their individuality by following the crowd then they're free to do so! It would make sense seeing as we're all playing as clones, and not really detract from the experience as everyone has the same number by default.

    It's not about the popularity, it's the "huhuhuhuhuhuh 69" that's why it was brought up.

    Yeah I totally understand the feeling there. Xbox live voice chat is so civil and intelligent, we couldn't possibly risk letting immature kids have something to go huhuhuhuh about. Especially on MNC with its sombre library atmosphere.

    I'm going to be 69 because it implies oral sex. Or 96 because it implies farting on someone's head. Or 13 because it implies scary number.
