Splitscreen Player 2?

In splitscreen does player 2 (If they are signed into their Xboxlive profile) get all the benefits that player 1 would get?

Will player 2 be able to:
Unlock Achievements
Gain exp and money
complete challenges
Stats posted onto the leaderboards
etc etc etc...

Most games I have played in splitscreen player 2 usually just tags along for the ride and can't unlock achievements and stuff so we have to switch places and play through again so we can both be 100%.

As long as the player is signed in with a valid gold XBL account, yes.

Ok thanks for clearing that up for me, I will probably be using splitscreen quite alot so I just wanted to know.
