It's been a while since I've encountered that bug. If you go into the settings and exit out, that usually fixes it.
I too have this issue. I've encountered it since beta. Sometimes it happens to we when the game is loading the planet and if I click on the screen before it's done loading, the planet goes into infinite spin. I have to Quit PA and restart it. Other times I'll be playing just fine, then after using WASD it'll go into infinite spin. Grrr so irritating. Going in & out of the menus does not fix it. Running on Mac OSX Mountain Lion. Hope someone can help.
