Can you guys please patch/change Spectator mode. Yes it is fine to see the whole map and watch but while spectating, the player has still got access to chat while the game is going. This should be disabled because he was giving out information about my location, units etc. Please fix in the next patch, Cheers
You should be aware of the fact that the game is still in alpha. That means that many features are barely implemented and some others are only using a rather temporary implementation. The "spectator mode" was only patched in with the last patch and is just a quick way to enable people to watch the game after they died. It isn't the kind of spectator mode that will probably be implemented further down the road. Yes you are right, that is bad, but don't worry there is no real spectator mode yet and it will probably be far better than just having a removed fog of war. The alpha currently isn't really competitive so it's not the end of the world when people can chat about what you do. I mean we don't even have mex spots and can build buildings in buildings

I currently don't mind it because I was second to last in the game still but i could ask why somebody did what whilst running my commander for his life. I think it depends on your opponents the ones out of the game didn't give up my location or anything like it
If you knew you could chat to the enemy why not have a nonsense chat about random things they might be talking about instead of saying whats going on. This is the kind of thing that takes people to have decency and common sense that if they want to watch they can watch and participate in a chat without revealing anything. On another not im not trying to say your the kind of person that would try and screw the person that killed you with chat. Things will get better but it will take time. Same with the ability to go to the moon because there is a feature and system they need to be working in order for it to work.
You don't play to win, you play to test the game. Since I stream I play to entertain so its a bit different but still, just play and enjoy the bugs :lol:
