In every game i play I like to go big or go home, I like seeing accomplishments so great they put others to shame (building a group wonder on sim city single handedly), capture the last point on Team fortress 2 while eating a sandvich as the heavy or as the predecessor to this game, build a massive unit that can wipe out an unsuspecting commander. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the idea of taking asteroids moons and other planets and ramming them into one another to end the game. Its destruction so great its beautiful. However I feel like there are other ideas out there that should be suggested. Say you have a gas giant, what would you ram into it to get rid of floating buildings? a planet? not likely, why not have the ability to turn it into something more interesting say, a black hole :twisted: why not have the ability to have a lazer planted on a moon, shoot to the core of a planet heating it up till it melted? like the ideas of destruction on a massive scale could be endless. If were playing with an extremely advanced civilization then we should have their extremely advanced technology to go along with it am i right? just a thought though Can't wait for the finished product!
Well, I guess you could try and ram two gas giants into one another using... Giant tractor beams or something, and then the result may ignite and begin the process of fusion. I'm not sure how quickly a star ignites, but it might happen in a short enough timeframe to blow up any buildings on the gas giant's surface.
Holy ****, your idea gave me an idea. How about we....have the option to....SET FIRE TO THE SUN :twisted: On a series note though, i think being able to make a new stars would be pretty cool. The new stars could also directly effect other planets as well. E.g. no night cycles for planets in-between the 2 stars, potentially turning a planet into a desert planet because it has become too hot because it is now too close to a large heat source. Just ideas though. Would be coll if Uber did something like this
