I didn´t find any other topics about this so i start one.

UBER said that PA brings soundtracks with full orchestra, choir and emotions.
So let´s collect some example soundtracks from other games or series or whatever.(But please some kind of battle music or epic music.)
Feel free to say who composed the soundtracks.

I start with some Soundtracks of Haegemonia (oldschool space RTS game) :
These soundtracks are composed from Ervin Nagy and Tamas Kreiner.

    Stargate Sg-1 Series:
Composed by Joel Goldsmith (He is dead  )

    Requiem for a dream:
    Composed by Clint Mansell

Just listening to the SG-1 music gets me pumped up. I really loved that show. The music is a bit "tv"-ish although it's hard for me to quanitify what that means.

I'm pushing Howard hard to make this the best score he's ever done by a large margin. After all he gets to have a real orchestra record his stuff for the first time. That's unbelievably exciting to a composer and warrants digging deep creatively.

Nice to meet someone who loves Stargate too ;)
Stargate is my favourite TV series of all time. I´m still watching it on Tele 5 every day.
Thanks for reply directly Neutrion ;)

Why not just force Jeremy Soule to make the music? We all know that can't go bad, and hopefully he has some nostalgic memories from TA aswell.

Because they already have a music guy which knows what he's doing. (And is probably a lot cheaper than Jeremy Soule)

I'm tired of hearing this statement.

Because Howard Mostrom is awesome? They have their own Jeremy Soule!

Well, with their own orchestra to make the music, i'm sure the music they will produce for the game will feel both original and full of emotion. The trailer music was pretty good and it was all composed through a person. I can only imagine how amazing the music will be with an entire orchestra behind it. Perhaps try to keep a feel of the trailer music but multiply that by 10 and make it more grandiose.

Good to hear that you are striving for a great score.

I personally thought that the soundtrack for the movie Sunshine was amazing. It really carried an eeriness with it that I hadn't heard before.

It would be cool that, in the soundtrack, there was a sort of 'eeriness' track that played while in space or exploring (not as a reference to Sunshine). It would make space seem a little creepy, but also keep people on their toes.

    Yeah, I want that too!

Is it wrong that I want the sound track to sound like the orchestral stuff (Beyond the Descent/Reborn Into Darkness/Imperium/Through the Remains) by Biomechanical?

I hope he has a listen to The Planets - Mars the Bringer of War. I've played it in an orchestra myself and it'd be awesome to have such powerful music in PA, it's also pretty fitting for the game! :)

Hm... okay, then I will post my favorite music style too.

Loved the music for the PC game Black Prophecy. I think it fits to PA as well.
