I entered my Bandcamp download code,and i started download. But the download is failed before i finish the download.Enter the code again,the site said it had already been redeemed. How can i finish my soundtrack download?
Just tried it, yeah you only get one download. Shouldn't be a problem though, when it comes up with the 'That code has already been redeemed' you get the 'click here' for help option. I would recommend you fill in that form and explain, or alternatively send an email to support@uberent.com. I'm sure they'll sort it out for you Just to warn you it may be a few days before you get a response as Uber have had quite a few requests lately!
It's still kind of silly you get only one download. If they really need to apply a limit, make it a more reasonable twenty or so. That will take care of wanting the soundtrack on multiple computers, failed downloads, having a backup, etc, while also not pushing people to torrent sites and such. Just one download is just... well... bizarre.
Yeah I must admit I expected to be able to access the download link again from my account. Not that I think Uber will have a problem sorting this out though. I mean once you have it you can copy it wherever (they haven't filled it with DRM) so preventing multiple downloads from the site isn't going to prevent people sharing it, I'm not sure what it accomplishes?
Yeah, I'm sure Uber will sort it out, but it's terribly inconvenient. Especially since Support (hi mkrater! ) is already overwhelmed as it is, so you have to wait quite a few days. I'm guessing they didn't think the limiting thing through? Even Apple, easily one of the most restrictive companies in the world, allows for multiple downloads. Possibly even unlimited? Also DRM-free since a few years.
