He has a pretty big vertical jump, kinda like the assault. His SMG does about the same damage as the assault rifle, and he has a grapple to ring people out (obviously) So anybody else think that with the right build the Sniper is part Sniper part mediocre Assault? I mean he doesn't have the ability to escape fights that he can't win. But there is a lot of things similar.
