Something changed?Party keeps getting split,26th attempt now

So i played with a friend all day no problem, sure we had the "crap sprees" where you keep getting lost connection, blue logo hangs, infamous laggy hosts and offcourse the party splits but right now it's ridiculous.
We just signed up for our 27th unsuccesfull game and every single time we get split up. There is no point whatsoever to play against the guy i am in a party with so we keep having to drop out these games, not only wasting our time but those of the people in that game aswell.
Also we are only getting into already running game, not once in a lobby like usual.

Did something change like a server tweak backfired or are we just extremely unlucky?



EDIT: Finally we both managed to get on the same team with me searching for a game and the other guy joining session in progress, sure it was on the dreaded SteelPeel so we figured it's better then nothing...only to get hit between the legs by the bad host demon.
Never though this wonderfull game could devastate a night like this tbh.

Welcome to Uber's idea of a party system. Nothing has changed and hopefully they will address this shortcoming sooner rather than later. The lag is killing me though... I got rolled by a Support that was a second faster than me at everything. The best was I shot him in the back from point blank with my shotgun, grappled him and then watched him 1-shot me. Whatever, I run gold armor too but that is a bit crazy. I cannot wait for this update because their net code is greatly lacking.

Well yeah, split parties happen all the time... but 27 times in a row?

Your issues should be fixed when the update is released. Hang in there buddy!

Quit whining and shoot your friend. When me and my friends get split up we don't notice half the time until one of use says
"This god damn (class) keeps killing me, can you help me out?"
"Sure, where is he at?"
"(Place description)"
"What the hell, that's exactly where I'm standing?"
"Then stop f*cking killing me!"
"No, I need the money."

Ow i'm hanging on! Not so much my friends though, guess it's time to call in some favors.
Seems all those nights helping people get their L4D1/2 expert achievements will finally pay off. :lol:
